  1. As far as design rules go, what are the practical limits for things like trace width and clearance?

    • Depends on how much fine-tuning you want to do. I think the FT232 breakout board is possible but is probably the limits of what can be done with the stock spindle.

      The machine’s limit seems to be the wobble of the spindle and not the precision of the steppers.

      The application limit is the quality of the PCB stock used.
