# Exploring DIY PCB Assembly versus Turnkey Services with MacroFab and Bald SENSE


Experience comparing DIY and Turnkey PCB assembly with the [Bald SENSE project](https://github.com/baldengineer/BaldSENSE_Sensor_Feather_Wing). This journey started almost four years ago. Thanks to a collaboration with [MacroFab](https://bald.ee/macrofab), I am finally collecting valuable environmental data with my custom Feather Wing.
